The SUBARU BELL 412EPX provides more capability while maintaining its reputation of reliability for operators. The 412EPX benefits from a more robust main rotor gearbox, dry run capability, and increased internal maximum gross weight. Combined with an upgraded external gross weight, the 412EPX allows aviators to achieve better operational efficiency.
Transmission Upgrade
The 412EPX features a certified 30-mins run-dry transmission with additional hover capability, improved lubricant containment, and higher mast assembly durability built with laser peening manufacturing technology. Just one of the many upgrades featured on the 412EPX.
State-Of-The-Art Avionics
The 2nd Generation Bell BasiX-Pro™ integrated glass cockpit system has integrated performance calculations for access to critical flight parameters features at your fingertips. This system is complete with 4 large-screen, high resolution multi-function displays that provide EFIS, EICAS, and systems display along with full screen video. The aircraft is IFR capable for single-pilot navigation and comes with Bell’s patented Power Situation Indicator (PSI) presentation which helps to reduce pilot workload.

Integrated Avionics System Course
This ground training course provides pilots with comprehensive information about the aircraft’s systems, components, and a thorough review of its operational characteristics. A robust 4-week course, participants receive 56 hours of ground academics, 20 hours of Full Flight Simulator (FFS) time per pilot and pre/post FFS event briefs.
A world-class aircraft operates at its best when you have a well-trained flight crew. The Bell Training Academy offers courseware and instructional technologies that are second to none. Utilizing 3D, high-fidelity interactive software, training courses have been developed to enhance the learning experience for all attendees.
Sometimes maintenance needs to occur in the field. Educating technicians so they can perform all field service operations, including troubleshooting/replacing components, and isolating faults is essential. After completing the 4-week course, attendees will have the knowledge necessary to maintain the airworthiness of aircraft systems.
Maintaining the airworthiness of your aircraft’s avionics and flight control systems is critical. This 4-week course delivers the fundamental operations and skills necessary, in addition to service, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, component change, and wiring diagram interpretation skills.
About the BTA
Our state-of-the-art facility occupies 100,000 square feet of classroom, lab, and hangar space. We train pilots to master flight on our Bell-owned aircraft and certified simulators, and prepare technicians for any maintenance case on our production representative maintenance training devices.
